Meadow Barn transforms a once-disused agricultural structure into a contemporary family home, one where modern detailing and traditional form meet in quiet harmony.
This project features a full suite of our high-performance glazing systems, tailored to meet the architectural ambition of the build. Double-glazed slimline sliding doors and windows were installed throughout, ensuring excellent thermal insulation while allowing uninterrupted views of the surrounding Buckinghamshire countryside.
Inside, steel pivot doors finished in blackened steel introduce industrial character softened by craftsmanship, including bespoke brass handles that nod to the material warmth of the interiors. A matching entrance pivot door with a custom pull handle sets a confident tone at the threshold.
A striking end gable window defines the main living space, acting as both a sculptural focal point and a source of abundant natural light. The sliding doors connect interior and exterior spaces seamlessly, while automatically operated tilt windows add discreet functionality and airflow control.
